Falcons Sign Five to Practice Squad

Earlier this week the Falcons made the cuts to get down to their 53 man-roster. Yesterday, they signed five players to their practice squad. The Falcons will still have three slots open as there are eight spots available on the practice squad.

Davis will be on the practice squad for the second straight year

Here are the players on the squad:

WR Drew Davis- second year player out of Oregon, was cut on 8/31 by the Falcons. Davis was on the Falcons practice squad last year. He made some nice plays on Special Teams during the pre-season. Davis had 2 receptions for 14 yards, and three tackles in the pre-season.

T Bryce Harris- rookie out of Fresno State, was cut on 8/31 by the Falcons

WR Marcus Jackson- rookie out of Lamar, was cut on 8/31 by the Falcons. Jackson had 7 receptions for 73 yards in the pre-season including a long of 24.

CB Peyton Thompson- rookie out of San Jose State, was cut on 8/31 by the Falcons. Thompson had 12 tackles in the pre-season and was tied for fourth on the team.

DT Micanor Regis- rookie out of Miami, was cut on 8/31 by the Falcons. Regis had six tackles in the pre-season.
