Last week we called out former Georgia Bulldogs tight end to make the Atlanta Falcons roster. White was one of 46 players who took part in the Falcons rookie camp this weekend in Flowery Branch. He was one of ten players brought in for a “tryout”, meaning they were not under contract. It looks like White showed what he could do because the Falcons signed him to a contract at the end of the camp.

It’s a first step for White if he wants to make the Falcons roster, but it’s a positive one and we already addressed our lack of quality tight ends on the roster (outside of Gonzo).
In addition to White, the Falcons also signed WR Kenny Stafford and FB Lee Meisner.
