Mike Johnson Injured at Falcons Practice

Football is a violent game and injuries are part of that game. Today, the Falcons saw that up close and personal as the front-runner to replace Tyson Clabo at RT, Mike Johnson, went down with an apparent leg injury and was carted off the field and taken away from practice in an ambulance.

When reached for comment after practice, Mike Smith had no immediate update but said that he would give an update as soon as he knew something.

If this injury is as bad as it sounds, that means that the RT position will now be in the hands of second year player Lamar Holmes unless the Falcons go out and use their cap room to find someone to compete with him.
