Sounds Like Umenyiora to the Falcons Is Heating Up

I was innocently browsing my reader after being bored by March Madness and came across an interesting article that was posted today from CBSsports.com. From the tone of the article it sounds like former NY Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora really wants to be a member of the Atlanta Falcons.

Here are a couple of quotes from an AJC article that was referenced in the CBSsports piece…

From afar, I’ve never seen a team that has this much talent, especially offensively with the weapons that they have out wide and a great quarterback . . .and they added Steven Jackson, one of the best running backs in football,” Umenyiora said. “The sky is the limit.

The only thing I can think of that would be better than being able to win in New York would be to be able to win here in Atlanta. We’ll see how that plays out. Hopefully, it works out in a positive direction.

Sounds like Osi is ready to end his free agency and sounds like he's ready to be an Atlanta Falcon. Now can Thomas Dimitroff make it happen?
